How much do tickets cost?
It’s Pay What You Can! You can buy tickets for each day of the festival on the door. So, it’s not like a cinema where you’d pay for one film – you get the whole day of activities included in whatever payment you make. The sliding scale for day passes is from £0-12.
We don’t ask for proof of income but we appreciate your honesty when choosing how much you can give. There’ll be a friendly face on the ticket desk who can explain it all.
Cash or card payments accepted.
For those with the financial means who wish to support the festival, we offer a limited number of full 5-day passes which includes payment for films, workshops, and the karaoke party.
Purchase your pass at The Bookish Type, for £30-50.
Where can I get a copy of the programme?
There'll be loads of free, printed copies of the programme at the venue. or you can pick one up from Wharf Chambers, The Bookish Type or Hyde Park Picture House. The programme is also available online.
Do I need to reserve for specific films?
In advance
You can book a place for each screening or workshop in advance via our 2025 Programme page. This place will be held until 30 minutes before the start time. You will need to pay for a day pass when you arrive, and you will be given a paper ticket for anything you have booked.
On the day
When arriving at the venue you can buy a day pass and reserve a seat for that day's films or activities.
You'll be asked to show your ticket on your way into the cinema for the above showings.
