We’re thrilled to present the UK premiere of the newest film in Susan Thompson’s Ghost Empire project series, which explores the legacy of British colonialism on LGBTQI+ rights around the world. In Mauritius and the nearby Chagos Islands, the criminalisation of queer lives collides with climate change and indigenous people’s fight to return to their homeland in a dreamy, experimental yet hard-hitting documentary.
