About the event

Dir. Deborah Alice Craig, United States, 1:30:00, English

Discover the lesbian activist who’s been systematically erased from American queer history – including being deliberately cut out of the film Milk. Sally celebrates the dynamism and complexity of lesbian-feminist firebrand, professor, and fantasy author Sally Gearhart, as well as the collective (if chaotic) nature of revolutionary movements and their icons.

⛈️: short piece of footage on historic medical violence; discussion of homophobia, misogyny, racism and sex / ☀️: inspirational older lesbians, lesbian community, intersectional activism
